This offering is 75 minute Kundalini Yoga Experience. This class includes a warm up session, a complete Kundalini Kriya, finishing with a mantra/ meditation session

Monday to Friday early morning Zoom online classes are offered consisting of a condensed full Kundalini Yoga Kriya, including warm-ups, the Kriya, and a Kundalini Mantra/ Meditation. 6:30-7:30am (CST).

About Me and Kundalini Yoga
Welcome to Morning Star Kundalini Yoga and Wellness! I'm Danika Wright, the heart and soul behind this sanctuary of spiritual awakening and holistic well-being.
My journey into Kundalini Yoga began as a personal lifeline during my darkest hour eight years ago. In the depths of despair, this transformative practice found me and became my guiding light towards healing and empowerment. Today, as a certified EK level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teacher with over 500 hours of training under my belt, my mission is to share the profound wisdom and healing potential of Kundalini Yoga with others.
My approach to teaching Kundalini Yoga is rooted in honoring tradition while embracing modernity. I believe in evolving this ancient practice to make it accessible and relevant to the needs of today's world. Drawing from the rich tapestry of Bhakti Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Shakti Yoga, I guide my students to trust the transformative power within themselves, awakening the dormant energy of Kundalini.
Beyond the yoga mat, I'm a devoted mother to three beautiful souls, a loving wife, and a dedicated entrepreneur managing a grain farm in rural Saskatchewan. Kundalini Yoga isn't just my profession—it's my personal medicine, sustaining me with boundless energy and joy to face life's challenges with a smile.

What is a Kriya?
It is a set of asana (physical yoga postures), breath patterns, body locks, mantras and mudra ( hand postures) that are designed to create a specific outcome. Example: Kriya for Centeredness was created to help center your emotional state of being. In short a Kriya is the theme for the class.
How is Breath of Fire done?
Breath of Fire is performed basically by panting through your nose. Inhaling and exhaling through the nose while powerfully pumping your belly. Inhale the belly expands, exhale pull the belly towards the spine.
Why do you always wear the colour white to class?
I always wear white during my classes for two reasons, to honour the Golden Chain of wisdom keepers that brought this healing form of yoga to the world. Also because energy moves through white where as black and dark colours absorb energy. This form of yoga is all about the energy body, and the colour white helps extend your energy body strengthening and expanding the Auric field around your body while practicing the yogic techniques.
